They said it in the ceremony, this is classic love story.  Instead of finding it in romance novels or timeless tales, the couple lives it every day in a one bedroom house in Black Hawk, Colorado.  From the day they met, Julia and Jackson spent every minute they could together.   They make each other smile and balance each other out in immeasurable ways.  It is a true match and I was delighted be a part of documenting their engagement and wedding.

The wedding was held at a venue in Lyons, Colorado called the Lyons Farmette.  The owners are easy going, the land is unique, and the animals are part of the scene.  There was music throughout the day and friends all around.  Their first dance was to Unchained Melody, performed by their friend.  From there it was a father daughter dance, cupcakes, and more good times.  Our part of the day ended with the Hora… because there is no better dance to photograph.  It is fun, it is inclusive and engaging, it is grounding… and it really sums of this event.
